NCTE

The National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) is a statutory body established by the Government of India under the NCTE Act, 1993, with the mandate to achieve planned and coordinated development of the teacher education system throughout the country. It aims to regulate and maintain the quality and standards of teacher education institutions and programs.

At Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University, the Faculty of Education is fully committed to adhering to the policies, regulations, and standards set forth by the NCTE. The University has received due recognition and approval from NCTE for its various teacher education programs such as B.Ed., M.Ed., and D.El.Ed., ensuring that all academic and infrastructural requirements are strictly met.
