B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering, which is a four-year professional undergraduate program, was started in 2021. The Department was established under the aegis of the Faculty of Engineering & Technology at DDU Gorakhpur University, Gorakhpur. The department's distinguishing feature is its vibrant learning environment, in which all students and faculty members cultivate the spirit of invention, creativity, and fruitful contribution to the progress of technology. The Department is establishing several laboratories not only to serve the purpose of the curriculum but will also facilitate to carryout of innovative research projects in the field of Nanotechnology, RF/Microwave communication, VLSI, Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Embedded Systems, and 5G/6G Communication Technologies to fulfill the fast-changing needs of society. The department plans to offer PG and Research courses in the coming years.
The department offers sufficient opportunities for the students to grasp and innovate. Students are motivated to take part in several activities like paper presentations, hardware exhibitions, technical quizzes, etc. to improve technical and soft skills of the students. Students can choose from a wide range of careers in embedded systems, telecommunications, chip design, IoT industries etc.
