We have plan that no waste should go outside the campus, we consume all the waste , within this view the University has started waste collection by providing containers in each departments , sections and buildings . The waste is collected is of three types:
Solid waste collected is taken over to Zero waste incubation centre and the degradable waste converted into organic compost and non degradable solid waste like plastics, water bottles etc are collected and an MoU is signed with Municipal Corporation Gorakhpur (Nagar nigam) to take away the plastic waste.
We have the present Earn while learn scheme students , outsourcing working staff , safai karamchari and Green Campus Initiative (GCI) committee has identified one person from each department to collect the waste and segregate into different containers as above mentioned and shown in the figure1.
We have plan to recycle all the Campus biodegradable waste and convert our Campus as well as in our community : ‘ZERO WASTE CAMPUS’. And also increases the GREEN and ENERGY AUDIT of our University Campus and surrounding community.

Abyom is the 1st officially recognised SpaceTech Startup from Uttar Pradesh. The journey started back in 2020, when Jainul Abedin (CEO & Founder) was invited by ISRO and they recommended to start an own venture on this vision, which is “To put India on the World’s Indigenous Reusable & Reliable Space Launch, Infrastructure and Talent map."
Abyom is presently concentrating on developing the Reignition Liquid Engine that will be used to create India's first Reusable sounding rocket which will be utilised to provide services for Meteorology, AgriTech Datas and other Research Experiments in the D and E Atmospheres. Finally developing a Reusable launch vehicle for orbit.
Air pollution is one of the biggest problem in a developing country like India. Every year, we lost thousands of lives due to dieses caused by increasing the quantity of harmful gases, chemicals & particles in the air. After the Smog attack in the capital of the country in 2017 and afterwards, this problem worsened. To counter this problem, one of the students of our MBA department, founded a start-up, Greensy, in 2019 which provides air purifying low maintenance indoor plants potted in beautiful terracotta pots that can be used as decorative peices & gift items, as well.
