Vision

In keeping with the University motto of “आ नो भद्राः क्रतवो यन्तु विश्वत:” the vision of Faculty of Vocational Courses is to become the leader and provide prospects for technical and professional skills to graduates that are competency-based and practice-oriented.

Mission

• To fill the gap between skill profiles of graduates as required at the workplace set up through real-life work environments.
• To train graduates to be self-supportive, and productive in the industry to improve the productivity of industry and commerce

About Faculty

The faculty of Vocational Courses was established on 03rd September 2022 in view of the Uttar Pradesh Government, National Education Policy 2020 for the formation of Faculties through order no. 1276/70-3-2021-16 (26)/2011 dated 16.06.2021 and approved by academic council dated 29.-7.2022. With the vision of contributing to skilling, upskilling and re-skilling its existing and prospective students, the faculty is developing various Diploma and Certificate programmes focusing on areas such as Food and Nutrition, Clothing and Textiles, IT sector, Media & Entertainment, Travel &Tourism and various other programmes. The Faculty is running these programmes in collaboration with the existing 6 other faculties comprising 29 departments. All departments are ICT-enabled classrooms to facilitate teaching through modern tools and techniques. After completing these bachelor’s programs, students can explore opportunities to work in various domestic and multinational companies. The University follows the University Grants Commission’s (UGC) guidelines for implementing academic programmes.
