About Department

The D/o Horticulture was established in 2021 with the objective 

to impart undergraduate teaching at B.Sc. (Ag.), postgraduate education at M.Sc. (Ag.) to develop quality human resource in thefield of horticulture.

Establishment of good laboratory Facility to conductpractical in undergraduate and quality research at PG and Ph.D. level.

To conduct research on all aspects of horticultural crops viz., fruits, vegetable, ornamentals,medicinal & aromatic crops and aquatic plants in order to improve theirproductivity and quality for enhancing production and income of farmers.
